Amethyst is a lilac to purple variety of the mineral Quartz. It forms beautiful crystals inside volcanic lava bubbles known as geodes. Due to its beautiful colour, Amethyst is one of the most popular gemstones. The ancient Greeks believed Amethyst prevented drunkenness. Commonly from Brazil.

Please note that this is hand made with natural crystals formed over millions of years and therefore may have some natural imperfections. This also means that each crystal we sell is completely unique and so may differ from the pictures shown slightly.

I bought these for my Minecraft mad daughter, who can also spend hours in the rocks and gems collection in the Natural History Museum. When they arrived, I couldn’t help but take a sneak peek at them and genuinely my first thought was whether I could afford to buy a second set as they were utterly stunning and I wanted my own!
On receiving them, she squealed with joy at the beautiful stones - utterly delighted to have her own obsidian and lapis lazuli! The stones are now on display in her bedroom alongside other rocks and gems from her collection.
The size of the stones and their quality is stunning for the price. They are superbly packaged to avoid damage in transit and the more vulnerable stones are encased in bubble wrap or a separate cotton bag to avoid chipping or scratches.
With great customer service and beautiful products, I will definitely be buying from amber pumpkin again!

Anklet is super cute, stunning colours and adjustable which is amazing!!
