Rooba's Soothing Cheek Oil is a blend of essential oils in a skin-softening mix of vegetable oils to soothe and relax your baby whilst calming and nourishing dry irritated skin on the cheeks.  Particularly common during the teething phase. Makes an ideal teething oil.

The conditioning base includes extra virgin olive oil, organic calendula and organic arnica oils that are carefully blended with a specially selected choice of pure essential oils. The blend of oils is solely combined to soothe, moisturise, condition and nourish your baby's cheeks.

Deeply relaxing to mind and body, oils of marjoram, lavender, chamomile and patchouli support the everyday stresses and strains of baby’s early years.

How do I use the Soothing Cheek Oil?

Gently massage one or two drops into your baby’s cheeks as and when required. The oil is to be used externally. As you massage it will help soothe and calm and moisturise their hot red cheeks leaving them lovely and soft. This 30ml bottle will last a long time!

Base oils: Extra Virgin Olive oil, Organic Calendula, Jojoba, Oat, Organic Arnica in Sunflower, Organic Rosehip, and Tocopherol to preserve the shelf life (vitamin E)

Essential oil blend: Mandarin (Citrus reticulate), Spearmint (Mentha spicata), Petitgrain (Citrus aurantium var amara), French Lavender ( Lavandula angustifolia), Sweet Marjoram (Thymus mastichina), Ginger CO2 (Zingiber officinalis), Frankincense (Boswellia carterii), Patchouli (Pogostemon patchouli), German Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla).

Details of Ingredients

Extra Virgin Olive oil: This cold-pressed oil has antioxidant properties, containing Vitamins A,D,E,K, which can be soothing for irritated skins and being extra virgin is reported to contain anti-microbial properties. It is a natural moisturiser perfect for skin conditioning. Contains phytosterols and polyphenols which along with Vit E act as an anti-oxidant for the skin.

Organic Calendula: Rich in vitamins, minerals and beta-carotene. plant waxes and other beneficial compounds make this a powerful therapeutic/reparative oil for our Soothing Cheek Oil blend. Renowned for its calming, soothing properties, calendula forms an important partner in this blend for soothing, calming, relaxing and anti-microbial benefits. This oil is extremely good for keeping baby’s skin conditioned and healthy-looking.

Jojoba: Mimics the skin’s natural oil (Sebum) in composition so readily absorbed and accepted. Jojoba moisturises and soothes skin, supports skin and hair, contains Vit B, E and is anti-microbial. It also acts as a balancing carrier, making your skin soft, supple and well-nourished.

Oat Oil: Rich in phytosterols, lipids and essential fatty acids like Omega 3, 6, 9 which help protect the skin’s elasticity and tone. This oil has antioxidant properties which are highly moisturising with calming properties that smooth, soften, soothe and nourish the skin. A good carrier oil to effectively calm irritated skin. This unique oil is rich in naturally found ceramides and vitamin E which have moisture regulating properties.

Organic Rosehip: Extracted from seeds and the fruit of wild rose bushes mainly sourced for Chile which has arguably the best quality. Full of vitamins, anti-oxidants and essential fatty acids which are excellent for soothing and hydrating dry, irritated skin and reducing the appearance of scars. This is a premium choice facial oil.

Arnica Oil (infused in sunflower oil): This infused oil with the flowers of arnica infused into sunflower carrier oil. The therapeutic benefits include calming and soothing  the skin. This vegetable carrier blend adds great therapeutic value to the blend.

Storage
